ANCESTRAL EFFIGY

SCULPTURE ROOTED IN PLACE.
I create large scale sculpture using willow and other natural materials, drawing on the landscape, wildlife and stories of the places around me.
My work explores our relationship with the natural world from familiar animals and ancient symbols to imagined forms shaped by folklore, mythology and the landscape of Kerry.
Each sculpture is made by hand, combining various weaving techniques with contemporary sculptural forms.
